Down Under 135 is created by 4 mates who have shown and proven in its first 3 years that DU135 is one of the gnarliest, super demanding and extreme foot races offered anywhere in Australia. Covering 135 miles ( 217 km ) single stage non-stop from start to finish, competitors will adventure across the single trails of the Lerderderg and Wombat State Forests in Victoria located only 40km west of the Melbourne Airport and CBD.
There's 2 ways you can tackle DU135 which way will you opt for? 1. 135 miles self supported unassisted no crew no pacer 2. 135 miles with a crew from start to finish and an optional pacer from O'Briens Crossing on day 1
The Down Under 135 will start in a picnic ground on the outskirts of Bacchus Marsh Victoria. Where the race starts with the crack of a whip and athletes are released into the Lerdy like a scene from the Hunger Games.
